Photograph caption dated January 20, 1965 reads, "Murdered - North Hollywood homicide detectives inspect the body of a middle-aged transient found in the lonely storage area of the Graystone Tile Co., 7040 Lanekrshim Blvd., North Hollywood, early this morning. Police believe a gang of teen-agers struck the man, known as 'Captain Jim' or 'Uncle Jim,' with heavy stones."
