Title supplied by cataloger. Photograph caption dated May 12, 1987 reads, "Touching herself just to make certain she wasn't dreaming, Barbara Pohlman ponders how quickly and how radically things can go wrong in Los Angeles. Pohlman was backing her Mazda down the driveway of her home on Rock Cliff Drive in the Hollywood Hills yesterday when the car suddenly accelerated, shot off the road, and came to rest in the branches of a tree, left. Pohlman, 55, was trapped in the driver's seat, high above the ground, for more than an hour while firefighters stabilized the tree with heavy ropes. Then they shattered the front windshield of the car and withdrew the embarrassed, but uninjured, Pohlman."
