Photograph of orange groves in Riverside, ca.1890. A small, paved path lined with short trees lies in the foreground with the sea of orange groves behind it. The short, round orange trees stand in perfect rows perpendicular to the path. A second path which runs behind them separates the groves from another field of groves which continue into the background. Faint mountains can be seen in the distance.
