Photograph caption dated February 2, 1954 reads, "Saanen nanny gazes with mixed admiration and astonishment at her newborn quadruplet kids, held by Bud Richey at Tony Cummarusti ranch, Acton. The kids include a doe and three bucks. Quads are always "news" at kidding time and occasionally even quints occur among milk goats. Papa of the lively quartet is a Toggenburg."
