Photograph was edited for publication purposes. Edward G. Robinson, Jr. was born on March 19, 1933 in Los Angeles. He was the son of legendary actor Edward G. Robinson and actress Gladys Lloyd. He was an actor, appearing in a few films and on television series. Robinson, Jr. lead a troubled life and was known for being a playboy. He started drinking as a teenager and got into trouble with the law numerous times after becoming an adult. He eloped at the age of 19, had a daughter, and was divorced a few years later. He was arrested multiple times for charges including check fraud, drunken driving, and assault and robbery. He married twice more and died of a heart attack on February 26, 1974. Photograph caption dated July 21, 1965 reads "Got an ultimatum." Robinson is pictured with his arms folded smiling at the camera. A sign on the wall behind him reads "Superior Court." He was granted a divorce in superior court from his second wife, actress-model Elaine Conte. The couple had only been married 21 days when trouble started over where they would live.
