Photograph was edited for publication purposes; Photograph was also used in an article dated January 23, 1962 Photograph article dated January 22, 1962 partially reads, "Homeowners along Wilkinson street in North Hollywood are seeking an ordinance that would prevent construction of buildings 'with no regard for the safety of pedestrians.' Don Duitz, representing Wilkinson avenue homeowners, has sent letters to Mayor Samuel W. Yorty and 1st District Councilman Everett Burkhalter pointing out that newly-constructed buildings in his area are blocking existing and proposed sidewalk areas...'Another such building was just started on the 6000 block of Wilkinson avenue...extending all the way to a curbing, thus blocking an existing sidewalk leading to stores on Oxnard street,' said Duitz."
