Description: Originally named Sunset Park, Lafayette Park consists of land given by Mrs. Clara R. Shatto 12/4/1899. In this picture the Bryson apartment bldg. is on the far side of the park, along with several other buildings. This part of the park was located on West 6th between Benton Way and South Commenwealth Avenue.
