Description
Photograph of the frog pond behind the house at the Guajome Ranch in San Diego, 1870-1880. The pond is in the foreground and is a smooth body of water that reflects the scene around it. There are several large trees on the far side of the pond, as well as a tall wooden fence. The edge of the pond is bordered by a wooden wall, and a ramp leads to the water at right. The word "Guajome" means "frog" in Spanish.
