Photograph caption dated July 12, 1957 reads, "Paul Roest, left, Canoga Park Chamber of Commerce president, and Harry Staves, right, city planning landscape architect, confer on map of rezoning changes scheduleed for Canoga Park area. Staves explained to some 200 citizens that canoga's population is expected ultimately to reach 86,000, about 60,000 more than present population."
