Description
This item documents the ground breaking ceremony for the construction of California State College Bakersfield which became the 19th member of the California State College System. Governor Ronald Regan, Senator Walter Stiern, and Paul Romberg (the first president of CS College Bakersfield) were a part of the "groundbreaking team."
