Description
Don Passman discusses his novel “Mirage.” He begins by explaining that his book is about the United States government experimenting on the public with drugs and hypnosis. The project is called The Mirage, and innocent people are subconsciously turned into terrorists. He talks about how he consulted real doctors and psychologists to come up with ideas for his novel. He describes how former KGB assassins contracted themselves as hit men, and that he wanted to use real elements of espionage into his novel. Passman discusses how he got the idea for the novel at a dinner party when his friends were mentioning brainwashing. He ends the interview by talking about his time studying at Harvard Law School, but always had a passion for writing throughout his life.
