De kom fra mange forskellige skoler og nåede, mens jeg var der, at lære ca. 30 tamil-sange – af de mest populære, de havde dernede. Tamil Nadu, India 1988-89. "With 80 students in the class" - A Danish teacher in the Arcot School Project is telling: Not only children learned to play the recorder. In fact, most of them were teachers (a total of 30). They were teachers at different schools and, while I was there, they managed to learn about 30 Tamil songs – of the most popular songs in the area. For these teachers we produced a small book with track records of the 30 songs. And now they are supposed to teach the students of their schools, giving the children a chance to entertain at various school events.
