Description
The Leo Hotel, 501 S. San Julian Street, a hotel for homeless and low-income people, opened yesterday. Interviews start today for the hotel's 38 single-occupancy rooms. Rates are $158 per month for those on general relief and $194 per month for those with other income. It will be an "alcohol-free community" for recovering alcoholics with at least "six months of provable sobriety," manager Art LeBlanc said. Photo dated: July 14, 1988.
