Description
In this letter, Yukio Mochizuki discusses his current research about Japanese Peruvians during World War II. He explains that he was talking to a coworker about his experiences in the internment camp in Crystal City and that he will be contacting Mr. John K. Emmerson as he was a State Department Officer in Peru during the war. He adds, "The more I learn about the plight of the Peruvian Japanese in America, the more it infuriates me." Collection of notes, articles, correspondence, photographs, and term papers collected by Yukio Mochizuki, a student at CSU Dominguez Hills, while researching Japanese American incarceration and Japanese Peruvian internment during World War II.
