Description: Photograph. "Apartment house rates 'tops' in architectural smartness -- White in color, with neat terraces, yellow wood trim, Spanish tile and Chromium bars, this edifice, housing ten apartments, offers the very latest in ultra-modern trends. It is located at 520 North Rossmore Avenue and is owned by Silas F. Slusher." -- Examiner clipping attached to verso, dated 28 March 1936.
Streetscape. Horizontal photography. The building was designed by Milton J. Black. Its style at that time was called "modernist".
