Description
Union men work far into the night counting ballots on a Los Angeles Transit Line offer of 9-cents an hour wage increase. The offer was accepted, 1199 to 973, averting a strike set for midnight Sunday. Ballots are counted at union headquarters, 656 South Los Angeles Street.
