Photograph caption dated April 5, 1962 partially reads "Art scholarship fund of 31st District PTA will receive proceeds of District Arts and Crafts Show Saturday, from 1 to 10 p.m., and Sunday, from 1 to 5 p.m., in the auditorium of Robert Fulton Junior High School, 7477 Kester Ave., Van Nuys. Paintings in center photo were done by students who won last year's art scholarships. Studying paintings, from left, are Mmes. Milton Tepper, who is in charge of all crafts exhibits; John Frederick, district Fine Arts Bureau manager, show chairman, and Max Frankel, art scholarship chairman. Fenton Ave. Admission to the show is 25 cents for adults; pre-schoolers are free.
