The Queen of Angeles Hospital existed from 1926-1989, when it merged with Hollywood Clara Barton Memorial Hospital to become the Queen of Angels-Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center, later the Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center. Since 1994, The Dream Center, a volunteer driven organization that helps 50,000 individuals and families each month, has occupied the former hospital facility. Photograph caption dated September 20, 1967 reads, "The Rev. Donald Gander, chaplain of Queen of Angels Hospital, blesses 'Hilltopper,' a new mini-shuttle buss that will make circuitous 10-minute round trip on the hospital grounds as a convenience to staff members. The 7920-foot route, with three stops, is perhaps shortest bus route in Los Angeles."
