Photograph caption dated February 18, 1959 reads, "Detectives inspect area where bludgeoned body of Edith Lucille O’Brien, 43, of San Fernando, was found. From left are Lt. W. J. Griffin, Sgt. T. H. Gerber and Sgt. Charles Nelson. Area is sparsely populated area of Verdugo Mountains, Tujunga. Two men are sought for questioning.”
