Cover letter written by Dr. Robert LaPerriere to Henry Taketa regarding his request that Mr. Taketa translate the Agnes Hospital brochure , sac-maed_0020, from Japanese to English for the Sacramento-El Dorado Medical Society. A 16 page handwritten history of Agnes Hospital accompanies the cover letter. The top of the first page reads: concerning the reconstruction of the hospital. Collection consists of drafts and notes for narratives on Asian Americans, photographs, exhibit items, artifacts, publications, and audio and visual material accumulated by Wayne H. Maeda, instructor and founding member of Asian American Studies at Sacramento State.
