Description
Front of postcard depicts image of train carrying passengers down from the Summit of Mt. Tamalpais along the Mt. Tamalpais and Muir Woods Scenic Railway. Printed caption at the top of the postcard reads, "2091. Mountain Train Descending from Summit of Mt. Tamalpais over the Crookedest Road in the World." The back of the postcard is postmarked with a stamp dated 1909. There is a handwritten message on the back addressed to a Mrs. F. A. Yates of Oregon. Publisher information listed on the back reads as follows: "Britton & Rey, lithographers, S.F. Publishers of pictorial post cards."
