Description
Photograph shows a large group of women probably preparing to board a Greyhound bus. The door to the storage compartment in the bus is open and the bus driver is bending over in front of it. A woman is in front of him next to a stack of luggage. They are in a redwood forest, and are probably located at the YWCA's Camp Ayun Mapu in Big Basin, California. The YWCA's Camp Ayun Mapu at Big Basin near Boulder Creek attracted about 150 girls for two week sessions in the summer.
