This postcard provides a storefront photograph of Mrs. Osborne's Pies, Cakes, and Pastry Shop in circa 1931, then located on 2512 Y Street. Mrs. Osborne's Pie Shop had its grand opening on August 15, 1930, and continued to be operated by Clara Osborne until October of 1931 when it was purchased by Sutter Ltd.. For the next few years, it operated as the Sutter Pastry Shoppe, serving as the company's second bakery with its located on 1011 K Street.
