Image of the construction of the Santa Monica Canyon channel installation, with the Golden Butterfly and Sexton's saloon at right and a small tented building with the sign "Tract Office." Also visible are dwellings on the hillside, a windmill, stacks of lumber, and an automobile.
This is a copy negative (a photograph of another photograph). Title devised by cataloger. date supplied by cataloger based on account in Young and Young publication Santa Monica Canyon (Casa Vieja Press, 1997), p. 54. Frank E. Bundy's first tract office is in a nearby tent.
