Wells, founding pastor of Little Brown Church, leans against pulpit in church that never closes its doors. Sign at entrance reads: 'the minister is available at all hours if he can help you'." Additional use on January 23, 1960, caption reads "Minister 50 years - The Rev. John H. Wells, who next month marks his 50th anniversary as ordained minister, leans against pulpit in Little Brown Church, 4418 Coldwater Canyon Blvd., North Hollywood, scene of numerous weddings, church was organized by the Rev. Mr. Wells 20 years ago." Over the altar hangs a copy of "Head of Christ" by Warner Sallman.
