Description
Two women stand side by side inside a church. The woman on the left wears a pale blue bonnet with pink roses. Her pink dress has narrow sleeves, buttons down the center front, and a white lace collar and cuffs. She wears a black shawl draped over her elbows and carries a white ruffled handkerchief. The woman on the right wears a white lace wedding dress. She wears a floral wreath of roses and smaller white flowers, perhaps orange blossom, anchoring her knee length lace-edged veil. Her dress is off-the-shoulder with a deep lace collar, and a small posy pinned to the center front. The sleeves are long and have six tiers of lace ruffles. The skirt is full with two tiers of very wide lace patterned with bunches of flowers at the hem. She holds a small Bible or prayer book.
