Description
Hand-colored postcard image shows view of The Big Curio Store in Tijuana, Mexico, 1915. Three automobiles are parked in front of and along side the wood structure, and several figures are walking on the walkway. Blankets are hung on display outside the building, and a Mexican flag is flying from a flag pole atop the structure. Split-back printed in green ink on reverse with “PANAMA CALIFORNIA EXPOSITION – SAN DIEGO – 1915 – THE COMPLETION OF THE PANAMA CANAL” in medallion, and “PUBLISHED BY ENO & MATTESON, SAN DIEGO, CAL. MADE IN U.S.A.”and "C.T. PHOTOCHROM" for the Curt Teich Company, numbered “R- 38553”. Numbered on front with "4272."
