Description
Seven women are depicted. The woman on the far left wears her hair pulled up in a bun, with curly bangs, and pearl earrings. Her dress is green and white with a high collar and long sleeves. The front of her dress is white with ruffles around her collar and waist. The sleeves and back are green with a gold border pattern. Her skirt is draped to the back with pointed overskirt sections at the sides. She holds a white handkerchief in her right hand. The woman next to her wears her hair pulled back in soft waves and dressed in a high bun. Her red dress has a high collar, long sleeves, and a darker red horizontal pinstripes. Red bows adorn the shoulders and the sides of the skirt, which is draped at the back. The bodice and center front of the skirt are draped with white and red patterned fabric crossed on the bodice and overlapping sections on the skirt. The woman next to her wears her hair up adorned with pink rosettes, and pearl earrings. Her dress is gray with a masculine style black jacket. The jacket is double breasted with black buttons, and very wide gold lapels. Her blouse is high necked with wide lace ruffles at the front and the cuffs. Her skirt has five rows of pointed white or light gray edged with black. The woman next to her wears her hair up adorned with pink flowers. Her green dress has a high collar and elbow length sleeves. Her dress has lapels, the pepblum of the bodice, and a layer of her skirt of pink on light pink floral print, in a zigzag pattern, with bobbles on the skirt points. White lace with pink roses edge the center front of the skirt, and bows and puffed upper sleeves adorn the jacket. She holds an open white and pink flowered fan in her left hand. The woman next to her wears her hair up with a gold hair ornament. Her dress is gray and black with a high collar, and long narrow sleeves. Her bodice and skirt are accented with a black and gray diamond pattern, and a diagonal button front on the bodice. She wears white gloves and a gold bracelet. The woman next to her wears her hair up with a gold comb on the side, adorned with round beads. Her pale yellow dress has a high collar, and long narrow sleeves. Her collar is deep blue with a matching flower. There are blue accents at the shoulders, cuffs, and a bow at her hip. She also has drapings of gold with blue floral design accenting her bodice and skirt. The woman on the far right wears her hair up with a blue and white hair ornament. Her dress is blue with a high white lace collar, and long, narrow sleeves. Her lapels and the front of her skirt are light blue with a dark blue Tattersall plaid. The jacket sleeves have bands of gathered white or floral lace with puffed upper sleeves. The waist and skirt are trimmed with wide blue bows. She wears gloves and a dark choker.
