Prepared by Christina Krysto and Loring G. Peede and featuring historical sketchces by Floyd R. Hildebrand along with decorations by William M. GIllies, the booklet depicts the origins of the Mechanics Store in Sacramento, CA. Opened by David Lubin and Harris Weinstock, the Mechanic Store rose in prosperity ultimately switching locations to Fourth and K Street. Thanks to furthering success the Mechanics Store is now the new Weinstock, Lubin, and Company Department Store on Twelfth and K Street. Commemorating this is the booklet’s detail the start of the company, its founders, and their development that led to this new store opening in 1924.
