Description
The Kaweah Post Office, located on the North Fork Road in Three Rivers, CA, is in 2010 the smallest post office currently operating in the United States. The office was founded in 1886 by the Kaweah Colonists in Advance (up the road a bit) and was moved to the current location in 1890. The present 8' x 10' building shown here was constructed by the community of Three Rivers in 1908.
