Photograph article dated December 11, 1961 partially reads, "Two old men in plaid shirts and black fedoras were remarkably rude Friday when they made a withdrawal at Citizens National Bank in Pacoima. The men, who withdrew about $6,500, evidently knew everyone would think ill of them, since they carried a .22 caliber revolver and a sawed-off shotgun when they entered the bank, 9077 Woodman Ave., about 2:35 p.m. In fact, the two were unwilling that anyone should see full-grown men acting that way, so they wore identical flesh-colored old-man masks, gloves and dark trousers. And you know what? They were probably not old men at all." Photograph caption reads, "Pacoima bank manager tells of $5,000 robbery. R. T. Nelson relates details to Van Nuys officer L. Ridenour."
