Description
Photograph of six young children on a swing set wearing dresses and suits. Sherald "Sher" Takahashi is the son of Frank Isao and Ida Takahashi. Sherald's cousins, Laurie Takahashi and Diane Takahashi, are also pictured. Back of photo reads: May 1958, Sher was walking. Photograph from page 19 of the Takahashi family photo album (csudh_tkh_0003). The Takahashi Family Papers includes a family photo album which contains images from the Poston incarceration camp, Robert and Florence Sumire (Takahashi) Griffen's wedding, pre-World War II photographs of the Takahashi family farming, and post-World War II photographs of George Yoshizumi and Yae Takahashi's grandchildren. Also included is Yae Takahashi's artwork primarily of the Poston incarceration camp.
