Photograph article dated July 5, 1961 reads, "A sleeveless cotton Lanz sheath dress, flecked with acqua [sic] daisies on a white background, is the movie date favorite of Allene Thrasher, Canoga Park High School senior. Two bows of matching cotton are placed at her waist. Short cotton gloves and leather pumps, all of white, are accompanied by a natural-color straw purse, trimmed in beige leather. Miss Thrasher is a member of her high school drill team and girls' league cabinet as well as co-editor of the school newspaper, 'Hunter's Call.' She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Collins, of 8015 Fairchild Ave., Canoga Park."
