Description
Title supplied by cataloger.
Park La Brea, bounded by 3rd Street on the north, Cochran Avenue on the east, 6th Street on the south, and Fairfax Avenue on the west, includes more than 4,000 apartments in both high-rise and garden-style structures. The buildings were designed in the early 1940's by architects Gordon Kaufmann and J. E. Stanton.
A street sign outside one of the apartment buildings at the Park La Brea complex indicates that Burnside Avenue is a private street, designated for residents and guests only.
