Description
Drivers wait for a pedestrian to cross the street in this view looking north of 2nd at San Pedro intersection. Signs in English intersperse with those of Chinese along the street. A mural on the right advertises Shell Motor Oil; a hotel on the left has rooms for 50 cents a day. Other businesses are Newmark Bros., coffee and tea importers, and the Hotel Pacific.
