Bust-length portrait.
Anna Blake was born in San Francisco in 1883 to Maurice B. and Martha Hannah (Eastman) Blake. Married Mateo M. Mezquida in 1911. Wrote short stories, novels, poetry and motion picture plays. Was awarded first prize for poetry at the Panama-Pacific International Exposition. She died in 1965 in San Francisco.
