Originally from San Francisco, Jetboy relocated to Los Angeles in 1986 and one year later, lost their bassist Todd Crewe to a drug overdose, prompting friends, Guns N' Roses, to regularly dedicate "Knockin On Heaven's Door" to him. Photograph caption dated May 16, 1989 reads, "Jetboy: like a dog ya gotta love." Shown is Jetboy's lead singer, Mickey Finn.
