Description
With fond recollections of having larruped the Angels in six out of seven games their last "civil war" meeting, Hollywood today was counting upon getting back in winning stride against Los Angeles again, starting a new series with the Seraphs this afternoon at Wrigley Field. "Babe" Herman, pictured at right here with Manager Bill Sweeney and "Ham" Schulte, second sacker will be the leading threats. "Babe" ruined the Angels last time out with two home runs. He's hotter than the proverbial firecracker, collecting 11 hits in five games last week at Oakland. Schulte returns to the lineup after missing out last week with injuries. Sweeney will be on the sidelines. Photo dated: May 6, 1941.
