They are sitting in a row on the ground outside chewing on something or smoking as each one has a hand raised to his mouth. They all wear hats and sit with their elbows proped on the their knees which are up. Corn husks or a few pieces of some other leafy vegetable matter lays on the ground at their feet in the foreground.
