Description
View looking east towards the Ivanhoe Rservoir, near the intersection of Tesla and W. Silver Lake Drive. The black structure shown over the reservoir is a cover made of wood and black roofing material. Various houses, most of which are in the California Spanish style, are visible throughout the image. The Department of Water and Power established reservoirs in the early 1900s as part of the city-wide system of water storage & delivery that today consists of only 10 remaining reservoirs.
