Description
Fern Dell, part of Griffith Park, is so named because it is covered with ferns and other lucious tropical growth. This color post card shows the Fern Dell Drive entrance to Griffith Park, then the largest city park in the world, containing 4,253 acres. Flowers cover the landscape to the left, and on the hill in the background is the Griffith Observatory, located in the park.
