Description
John Rechy discusses his book, “About My Life and the Kept Woman.” Rechy talks about his Mexican mother and Irish father. He says his father used to produce plays and that Rechy was at the center of them. Rechy talks about girls he grew up with and one woman’s identity change from Alicia Gonzales to Isabel Franklin. He goes on to talk about hustling, teaching, and his time on the streets of Hollywood.
