Description
Note translation: "Hausmutter" is not easy to translate: it can signify a role close to that of a mother in a large family if the institution is small, through someone responsible largely for domestic services in a larger institution, to someone with responsibility for leadership and the "upbringing" of whoever was in the institution involved - "Hausmutter" can, indeed, signify someone of the level and status of a "warden".
