Redwood launch. Hollowed from a redwood log. Launch is 28' long and 6-1/2' beam. Stern board is inserted. Sides are about 2-1/2" thick at water line. Flat bottom. Pierce Arrow auto engine. Owned by Warren Blake, Klamath, California. He and another Indian finished boat in 1-1/2 months. Used axes, adze, and planes. Log was a "flat" one on one side, and wood desired is of the interlocked type. 2-21-37. E.F
