Dr. Joseph V. Charyk, Air Force under secretary, is the principal speaker at a press conference in honor of Armed Forces Day. Seated next to him, is his wife, Adwina Elizabeth. The event, which also displayed a model of the Douglas Skybolt missile for the first time in Southern California, was held on May 19, 1961 at the Sportsmen's Lodge, located at 12833 Ventura Blvd. in Studio City.
