Set of twenty-five views copied from Baldwin glass plates of building ruins from the San Francisco earthquake and fire, 1906; shows rubble of brick, framework of multi-story building ruins, some beginnings of reconstruction throughout San Francisco. View 17 (2005-0555). Streetcars for the United Railroads, cars 1077 and 731 -- view 18 (2005-0556). Rubble, Fairmont Hotel in background -- view 19 (2005-0557). City Hall -- view 20 (2005-0558). Ruins -- view 21 (2005-0599). Street scene, ruins -- view 22 (2005-0560). City Hall -- view 23 (2005-0561). Ruins, rubble, street scene -- view 24 (2005-0562). Rubble, ruins, wood framework for sidewalk (?) -- view 25 (2005-0563). Ruins, rubble filled foundations in foreground.
