Photograph caption dated February 1, 1955 reads, "A very attractive Dodge test driver showed up recently at a salon showing of the new Chrysler Corporation cars. The test driver is Betty Skelton, holder of the world's automotive speed record for women, (143.44 mph in a Dodge Firearrow) and shown with from left to right, Bert M. Carter, West Coast sales manager for Dodge; L.L. Colbert, president of Chrysler Corporation, and bandleader Lawrence Welk."
