In the background at left, a group of large goats can be seen running along a road from left to right. To the right, a man holding objects in his hands can be seen stepping to the side as goats run by him. Behind the line of goats, a large crowd of spectators can be seen watching the animals. Many of the men can be seen wearing coats and hats. Many of the women can be seen wearing long dresses. Behind the large crowd, an oriental-styled building with a wide awning can be seen. Columns support the awning at its base, and many people can be seen sitting on benches within the building. To the far right, an additional building is visible beside trees.
