Photograph article dated October 27, 1960 partially reads, "A Tujunga man, who barricaded himself in his home threatening to shoot it out with police, was in North Hollywood jail today after a police sergeant talked him into surrendering during a phone call. Booked on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon is Frank J. Allen, 26, 7760 Valmont St." Det. Sgts. Ted Gerber, left, and Douglas Bentley talk to Allen, right.
