Description
A large group of Mayan men, many in colorful clothing, wait in a long line to vote on March 7, 1982. They are all wearing hats. Behind the line there is a wall with colorful panels in white, blue, and pink. Groups of Mayan men started lining up to vote at five in the morning. They were told that they would be killed if they did not vote. Un grupo de hombres mayas, varios con ropa colorida, esperan en una larga fila para votar el 7 de marzo de 1982. Todos llevan puesto un sombrero. Detrás de ellos se observa una pared pintada en paneles blancos, azules, y rosados. Grupos de hombres mayas comenzaron a formarse para votar a las cinco de la mañana. Se les dijo que los matarían si no votaban.
